The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, best known as the Euro2012, will be held from June 8th to July 1st. (For more on the hosts Ukraine see www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/3211.htm) As the date nears and the excitement grows in Europe, fans are scrambling to find tickets to attend this tournament. Tickets sold directly by the UEFA are sold out and now fans have to purchase them through resale. Euro2012 is one of the biggest sporting events in Europe and attending this tournament will be filled with fun, surprises, and excitement.

The Euro 2012 will be jointly held in Ukraine and Poland this year. The cities that will be hosting the event are Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Kiev, Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkiv, all very popular tourist destination. This championship takes place once every four years since 1960s and has gained tremendous popularity in the recent years. Football fans around the world eagerly await this tournament. It is an excellent opportunity to witness some of the world’s finest football players and teams in action. Last tournament’s winner, Spain, went on to win the World Cup after this championship.

Because of Euro2012′s tremendous popularity, there was an incredible demand for Euro 2012 tickets when they went on sale this year. (For more see www.ticketbis.net/euro-2012-tickets/ca569) The demand was so high that the UEFA had to establish a lottery system in which prospective buyers signed up on a list and the tickets were then raffled lottery-style. The UEFA reported that they received 12,149,425 applications for tickets and only 41% of these were fulfilled. Many ticket holders are now reselling their tickets. The original prices for the tickets ranged from 5 to 600 euros. The UEFA foresees that 85% of the tickets will be held by fans, while the remaining 15% will be allotted to members of the organization, press, and other public figures. Ticket prices were lowered by up to 50% from 2008′s prices to provide more fans with the opportunity to attend this event. The matches are divided into three categories, depending on the team’s abilities. The Category 3 tickets are the least expensive and can be as cheap as 50 euros for the final, as opposed to 600 euros for the Category 1 final. Fans that would like to experience this event on a budget can consider attending a Category 3 opening match which is the most inexpensive.

If you have never been to a Champions League Final match you have no idea what is in store. It’s the kind of energy that you have to feel to believe. While people talk about going to the Super Bowl and how “amazing” it is to see it in person, the main difference is that at the Super Bowl most of the audience is made up of sponsors and celebrities. This means that if you are a fan you have a tendency to get shut out of the stadium at the Super Bowl. While there are a good amount of celebrities at the Champions League Final, you will also find a vast majority of fans as well. Whether it’s for Barcelona FC or Manchester United, you can be sure that the crowd will be filled with passionate soccer fans who cheer or boo everything that is going on on the pitch, not people who are looking to be seen at the event.

The thing is, if you are looking to watch the match with your own eyes on the Wembley Pitch on May 28th, you are not going to be able to buy the tickets at the box office. Tickets have long been sold out at the stadium, which means that if you want to go to the game you have to go out there and buy your tickets from a scalper. To make matters even worse, with only a couple weeks left until the game you are going to have to pay top dollar for the scalped tickets that are out there. If you want to go to the game, though, be sure that you keep an eye out for champions league final tickets 2011 online. Even if you have to pay a little more than you wanted for the tickets, it means you can be there in person to see what will be a great match.

I have never been much of a football fan, but that all changed when I met my new boyfriend. You could call him the ultimate super fan. He loves everything to do with football and his favorite football team the Chelsea Blues. After a few months of blissfully dating his birthday arrived and I gave him two Chelsea tickets.

I mistakenly thought he would bring one of his friends to the game but my handsome boyfriend wanted to take me. I grudgingly agreed, it was his birthday after all. When the day of the big game arrived, I prepared myself for a day of torturous boredom. As soon as we pulled into the stadium I knew I had been wrong.

The excitement was in the air. The blue sea of the crowd was yelling and cheering and the match had not even begun. Once the match started I felt myself joining in and cheering like the most loyal Chelsea fan. My boyfriend kept me in steady supply of beer only adding to the intensity of my wild cheering. There may have even been a few curse words yelled at the opposing team’s fans.

There is something magical about watching a football match live. On the telly, the footballers always seemed far and distant that I could not connect to the action. Watching football live the sweat and athleticism of the footballers becomes vividly apparent. It also helped that all the players were extremely fit and nice to stare at.

My boyfriend may have been the only person having more fun than me. He later told me it was like his girlfriend had transformed into the fantasy “super-girlfriend.” The Chelsea tickets were the best birthday gift he could ever receive. We now go to football matches whenever possible, so I can become his “super-girlfriend.”

In school, English was my favorite subject and I always received good grades in reading and spelling. So, when I saw a chance to enter a spelling bee in my home town, I was excited. The best part was that the prize would be a fabulous dress.

The dress was gorgeous. It was red hot with a bit of shimmer. The dress was strapless and quite short, which was perfect for the club. There was a cute bow around the wasteline that added a touch of creativity. I could not wait for the spelling bee to begin because I knew that dress was going to be mine.

In Australia the sport is very popular and a number of magazines are on the market to get the best tips on gear and where to hit the best slopes. There are a number of great places to check out when thinking about going out skiing for a vacation. Australia is one of the number one places to go for its rugged beauty. Two of the states, New South Wales and Victoria, offer alpine slopes worth traveling for.

When Australia comes to mind, normally snow does not connect, definitely not skiing. But the opposite is true. Australia is a diverse country not only harboring waves to surf or barren desert, but slopes to ski during the winter season. Some of the best Olympic skiers and snowboarders are from Australia, proving that some of the top athletes have trained on the slopes here and makes it a great getaway.

This year Champions league final 2011 will be at Wembley Stadium on May 28th In London. New Wembley was chosen to host the Champions league final 2011. However, there were two stadiums, which had been selected, the Alianz Arena in Munich and Olympiastadion stadium, which is situated in Berlin. Next year finals will be played in Munich. The reason why New Wembley was selected is that in Europe it is the second largest stadium, and it is capable of holding 90,000 fans and this is what makes Wembley a different stadium from the one which hosted Champions league final last year.

Barcelona and Manchester United will be meeting again for the second time this year. One thing that you need to note is that both teams have won Champions league cup three times, and if Barcelona or Manchester United wins on May 28, it will be their fourth trophy.

This year Champions league final will be different from the previous ones because finding a ticket has become a particularly difficult task. Fans have complained about prices of tickets. UEFA announced that the cheapest Champions league final ticket will be selling at £ 176 which is a price hike from last year’s price. Fans have described the prices as excessive and have taken ticket pricing to a stratospheric new level, this is pure exploitation of soccer fans.

When launching the Champions league final tickets 2011 sell, UEFA director Giorgio Marchetti said that the main reason why tickets have skyrocketed is because, it has been a general trend across the board in the sporting world. He also said that Champions league final is like a world cup game.

Another problem is that, Manchester United is selling tickets to only united members. Besides, they have strict restrictions and selection processes, if you have to be sold a ticket you must have attended all the away games and home games this season in the Champions league.

Fans are not happy with UEFA and they should be ashamed of themselves for hiking tickets prices and imposing strict restrictions on finding the tickets. Finding tickets will be a difficult task not only for Manu and for Barcelona fans, but also for everyone who loves football. This has deprived many football funs the fun and excitement they would have experience by watching the live from the stadium. If you do not have a Champions league final tickets 2011, plan to watch it from indoors because it is cheap and free.

I do not mean that I like it more than most. I mean I actually love football. If it were possible for me to spend every day watching, playing, and talking about football I would. I think it started when my father got premier league tickets and took me to my first match.

I was never much into sports, I spent most of my time in the library reading and if I was not there, I was in the garage putting together intricate airplane models. My father always tried to get me to kick around the ball but it never interested me. That is, until the year I turned twelve. I can see it like it happened this morning.

I was in the garage putting together a particularly tricky Japanese fighter plane when my father came in and told me to stop. I looked at him with a bit of confusion because he rarely came into the garage and he never was interested in what I was doing unless it affected him. I put down the small tweezers and tube of epoxy before turning to look at him. He looked at me for a long moment and made a sweeping gesture with his hand as he told me to get ready and meet him in the car. I did as he said without asking any questions thinking that we were going on errands or something equally boring. Boy was I wrong.

When we got to the stadium I audibly groaned and started to complain the whole way from the car to our seats. But, the moment that the first players hit the field I was hooked. I watched in silent awe as my heart raced, pummeling the blood to my temples and my body jolted and lifted from the seat with each goal. From that moment forward football was everything to me. I will always love my father for introducing me to my first love.

Let’s face it: there are some soccer matches that are just destined to go down in history. These are the matches use as reference points in soccer history; the kind that people will always remember where they were when they watched it. The upcoming UEFA Champions League Final has that kind of feeling, if only based on the matchup alone. Here you have two teams that are at the top of their game. In addition, you also have Wayne Rooney, one of the most recognizable players around the world, as well as Lionel Messi, who is considered as the best player in the world by many experts. In addition, you also have, arguably, the two biggest sports franchises in the world going head to head for supremacy. This is not a game that fans wan to miss, whether you have a rooting interest with one of the clubs, or you simply love great soccer.

Of course, if you want to go to Wembley Stadium on May 28th to see the match for yourself, you are not going to have any luck at the box office. The reason for that is simple: champions league final tickets were sold out long before the final pairing was set, which means that if you are going to get tickets for the match you are going to have to deal with a scalper. Since the match is only about three weeks away, you aren’t exactly going to be able to find cheap tickets either. With that said, if paying upwards of a thousand pounds (or more) doesn’t seem like too much of a price to pay to see the two best teams in the world, than you will be treated to a once in a lifetime event. You can find out more info by searching for champions league final tickets 2011 online.

The alarm sounded and every other sound seemed muffled beneath the blaring siren of the clock. Pushing out of the comfort of my bed was the last thing I wanted to do. I hated school. Most of my friends felt the same way and every morning we commiserated while we waited on the bus. This morning was no different. We walked towards the corner of Maplewood and Cornwall grumbling the whole way until we met beneath the large oak that marked our juvenile conference area.

Normally, our rather loud complaints of mathematic torture were uninterrupted. That morning, just as I was spouting the latest trial of my own pitiful existence, my father drove up and waved me over. I knew something was going on because my father never drove me to school. I started to get scared. My stomach flipped with fear as I climbed into the black truck and looked at my dad questioningly.

“I’ve got a surprise for you.” My dad said as we pulled away from the bus stop.

We drove for about three blocks and then turned towards the freeway. Driving across the turnpike in silence, my mind was a flurry of ideas and supposition. I couldn’t imagine what it was that my father had in store.

When we took the exit for the airport I couldn’t wait any longer. I turned and stared at my father for a long while and finally blurted out, “Are you going to tell me?” He just grinned at me and reached into his sports coat pocket. My eyes followed his hand as if they were the key to the universe and almost leapt from my skull as he drew the envelope from his jacket.

“You… You got Olympic tickets!” I screamed the words and tried to grab the envelope from his hand.

He just laughed and tucked them away as he pulled into long-term parking and shuffled out of the truck. He grasped two suitcases that had been strategically hidden behind the seats and handed one to me with a wink.
I barely remember the plane ride to Atlanta, Georgia, the hotel room, or even getting to Centennial Olympic Stadium. What I do remember was it was the most spectacular week of my life.

This sport requires the use of your legs and arms as well as a good mental capacity and hand-eye coordination. As a perk, tennis players do not need much equipment to play their game. A decent tennis racket and some balls, both available at most department stores and sporting goods’ stores, are easily procured, and a tennis court can be found at most local parks.

Tennis incorporates the thrill of running and oxygen pumping through ones lungs with the victorious feeling of smacking a ball with the racket. That amazing sound of the contact between the tennis ball and the racket and the realization that you just sent the ball flying back over the net is extremely rewarding.

Although tennis can be a very serious sport, it can be entirely fun and recreational as well. Younger children can get out on the court and try to hit some balls around while older players may enjoy actual competitions. Following the rules of proper tennis play provides an extra challenge, both physically and mentally.

Some of my best summer memories are running down to the park with my tennis racket and best friend in the heat of the afternoon, and sweating every thought, feeling, and concern out on that tennis court. Later in the evening, when the world had cooled down slightly and the sun was setting, most of the family would head back to the park for several hours of evening fun as we all tried to hit the balls back and forth.

Tennis just one of those sports that players become easily hooked to, and it’s something that will fulfil the need for exercise, energy expenditure, and emotional release!
